Role Overview:
We are seeking a committed Senior Front End Web Developer with substantial WordPress experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for clean and intuitive design, extensive front-end development skills, and the ability to translate high-level requirements into functional, user-friendly interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new user-facing features
- Create reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Proficiency in JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.
- Extensive experience with WordPress
- Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Familiarity with image authoring tools, such as Gimp or Photoshop
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Proficiency in code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN
- Strong grasp of SEO principles and ensuring that the application adheres to them
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of front-end web development experience, particularly with WordPress
